FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you install stock cabinets, custom, or both? +

Both. We install stock cabinets from major lines, semi-custom orders, and fully custom cabinetry. Each installs to the same standard: perfectly plumb, level, aligned, with doors that close right and drawers that glide.

Can you install cabinets I bought elsewhere? +

Yes. Many homeowners buy their cabinets directly from a manufacturer or big-box retailer to save on markup. We're happy to install what you've purchased. Just confirm with us before ordering so we can review the spec for fit and any installation gotchas.

Will my cabinets be level even if my walls and floors aren't? +

Yes. Older Corvallis homes especially have walls and floors that aren't dead-flat. Cabinet installation involves shimming, scribing, and adjusting to compensate. Done right, the cabinets read as level even if the wall behind them isn't.

What about hardware (knobs, pulls, hinges)? +

We install the hardware as part of the job. If you've already picked it out, bring it on site. If you haven't, we can talk through options that suit the cabinet style and finish.

How long does cabinet installation typically take? +

For a standard kitchen with around 20 to 30 cabinet units, expect 2 to 4 days for the install itself, plus another day or two for adjustment, hardware install, and punch-list work. Larger or more complex layouts add time.

Can you adjust cabinet doors and drawers that aren't closing properly? +

Yes. Cabinet adjustment is part of the job, and we can also come back for adjustments on cabinets installed by us or by others. Wood and humidity shift over time; doors that worked perfectly in winter may need a tweak in summer.
